I saw this cake at the supermarket the other day. It's a monster cake, with a cookie in it's mouth. Behind it is a pink monster.Kind of amused and entertained me.
This was a blast from the past for me. I know theses cereals have been around forever, I just seemed to not mind them during my sojourns for cereal. I've recently moved on up from high-sugar, good tasting, heavily processed kids cereals like Fruity Pebbles and Peanut Butter Crunch cereals to healthy, fiber-ful adult fare like Go Lean Crunch and Shredded Wheat (it's all about the bowel movements, a healthy colon is a happy colon folks.) Maybe it's the updated new design that caught my attention. I remember being a fan of Franken Berry, even though I didn't like strawberry flavor. I could never get into Count Chocula. I don't like chocolate milk or anything with a chocolate milk taste to it (never been cuckoo for Coco Puffs.) Love hot chocolate, but not chocolate milk. Something gets lost in translation for me between the hot and the cold. I could have sworn though that there was a different scary entity cereal before Boo Berry, but I can't seem to recall (this may have been in the days before I spoke English.) Maybe something with a more mixed berry theme, something with a mummy? I may be confusing this with
Smurf Berry Crunch. I might have to do some research into this matter...
